Alberta Bailey, 75, of Premium passed away Monday, September 18, 2017 at her residence. Alberta was the daughter of the late Anderson and Florence Shell Barrett. She was the widow of Ulyes Bailey. Surviving is 9 sons: Herbert (Margret) Stamper Jr. of Kingscreek, Anthony (Ramona) Stamper, Roger (Raylene) Stamper of Detroit, Michigan, Buddy (Jennifer) Bailey of Premium, Grant (Melissa) Bailey of Premium, Bobby Joe (Trena) Bailey of Premium, Scotty (Fredia) Bailey of Pine Creek, Richard Allen Bailey of Premium, and Charles (Rebecca) Bailey of Premium; 1 daughter: Melinda Baker of Whitesburg; 33 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren; special friend: Colleen Ison. Alberta was preceded in death by 3 grandchildren: Billy Ray Stamper, Buddy Allen Bailey, and Misty Ison; 5 brothers: Jasper, Clay, Price Barrett, Edward, Albert Halcomb. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, September 22, 2017 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Frazier Cemetery at Premium, Kentucky.
