Beatrice Whitaker, 89, of Hallie passed away Tuesday, October 25, 2016 at her residence. Beatrice was the daughter of the late Squire and Katie Watts. She was the widow of Chester Whitaker. Surviving is 1 daughter: Jewell Eldridge (Dana) of Hallie; daughter-in-law: Betty Whitaker; 5 grandchildren: Angelina Smith, Amanda Whitaker-Hill, Kevin (Selena) Eldridge, Shawn Eldridge, Candida Dixon (Chris); 9 great grandchildren. Beatrice was preceded in death by 2 sons: Roger Whitaker and Robert Whitaker. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, October 27, 2016 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Caudill, Jim Fields, and Danny Dixon officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Press Whitaker Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.
