Betty G. Sturgill, 71, of Whitco passed away Sunday, May 14, 2017 at the Jackson Manor Nursing Home in Annville, Kentucky. Betty was the daughter of the late Edward and Yvonne Halcomb Conn. She was the widow of Raymond Sturgill. Surviving is 2 sons: Eddie Ray Sturgill of Rogersville, Tennessee and Willie D. Sturgill of Naples, Florida; 3 daughters: Tammy Yvonne Adams of Whitco, Shelly Davis of Annville, and Amie O'Rourke of Whitesburg; 2 brothers: Billy Conn and John Conn both of Whitco; 16 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren. Betty was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Joe Daniel Conn and Arnold Conn. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Thursday, May 18, 2017 at the Faith Tabernacle Church with Darren Cunagin and Tony Adams officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Faith Tabernacle Church. Burial will follow in the Obie Fields Cemetery at Cowan, Kentucky.
