Billy Conn Adams, 71, of Jeremiah, Kentucky passed away at his mountain top home surrounded by his family and friends on Friday, September 22nd following a short illness with aggressive lung cancer. Bill was the son of the late Arthur and Helmer Thompson Adams. Bill is survived by his loving wife of 52 years Helen Louise Ison Adams. Five sons: Terry (Dorothy) Adams of Wilmore, KY; Tim (Laura) Adams of Nicholasville, KY; Phillip (Brent Reid) Adams of Nicholasville, KY; Robbie (Renita) Adams of Jeremiah, KY; and Justin Adams of Jeremiah, KY. Two daughters: Gina Adams of Jeremiah, KY and Lena (Roy Jr.) Campbell of Lexington, KY. Bill is also survived by 13 grandchildren: Alex (Megan) Adams; Trevor (Anthony) Adams; Rebecca (Tristan) Adams; Joseph Page Adams; Brandon Adams; Roy Campbell, III; Connor Adams; Drew Adams; Brooke Adams; Bill Colby Adams; Jenna Adams; Justin Adams, Jr; and Kelli Rose Adams. Bill also leaves behind a much-loved special daughter, Lisa King-Kerr. Bill is also survived by brothers: Bud (Christine) Adams, Tony (Linda) Adams, JR Adams, and  LC (Joyce) Adams; and sisters: Debbie (Woody) Adams; Tammie Adams; Maggie Adams; and Janet (Roger) Hill; a sister in-law, Judy Adams; a great number of well-loved nieces and nephews; a host of well-loved friends and family; a pack of grand dogs and cats;  his welfare cat, Wilbur and his loyal guard dog, Scooby. Bill was preceded in death by brothers Den Adams, Alfred Adams, and Shannon Adams; and sisters Geneva Adams, Reneva Hayes, and Anis Adams. Bill’s legacy was his capacity to love everyone abundantly. As we all know, he was: “The Last Great Conn.” Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Monday, September 25, 2017 at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church with Wayne Smith, Allen Whitaker, Don Pratt, Robert Holcomb and others officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the John C. Adams at Jeremiah, Kentucky.
