Billy Ray "Tooty" Taylor, son of the late James Blaine and Betha Ellen Taylor, was born at Whitaker, Kentucky on November 6, 1932. He passed from this life Thursday, March 16, 2017 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home. Bill was married to the late Wilma Jean King Taylor. Bill had worked for Ford Motor Co, Beth Elkhorn Corp. and was the co-owner of Taylor Brothers Used Cars. Besides his wife and parents, Bill was preceded in death by brothers: Clarence, Otis, Bernard, Nippy, Lonnie, Bobby, James, Donnie and sisters: Effie and Viola Henderson. Bill is survived by two sons: Stevie and wife Debbie Taylor of Whitaker, KY, Michael and wife Trulia Taylor of Georgetown, KY, One daughter Sabrina Taylor of Whitaker, KY, one grandson Brandon Craft of Pikeville, KY; two granddaughters Brooke Holbrook of Whitaker, KY and Tiffany Kiser and fiancee Coty and daughter Lily of Norton, VA; sisters Elsie Ryan of Cromona, KY, Faye Bolling of Pound, VA, Carolyn Spangler of Neon KY and Elaine Kelly of Jenkins, KY; brothers Eugene Phillips and Freddie Taylor both of Kona, KY. Also nieces and nephews that have been a big part of his life. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, March 18, 2017 at the Seco Freewill Baptist Church with Rocky Craft and Lester Boggs officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Seco Freewill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery at Seco, Kentucky.
