Calvin Coots

Calvin Coots, 65, of Viper passed away February 16, 2018 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Calvin was the son of the late Hershel and Lucy Shell Coots. Surviving is his wife: Carolyn Coots; 1 daughter: Cassie Orender of Viper; 1 son: Terry Hatton (Amber) of Morehead; 4 brothers: Scotty Coots (Dornell) of Georgia, Randal Coots (Juanita) of Viper, Jeff Coots of Georges Branch, and Elmer Coots of Viper; 6 sisters: Hershella Coots of Viper, Vic Hubbard of Blackey, Debbie Howard (Silas) of Knott County, Deetta Pratt of Hazard, Inetta Caudill (Jim) of Blackey, and Patsy Oliver of Georges Branch; 7 grandchildren: Makenzie Coots of Viper, Amber S. Hatton of Viper, Dalton Collier of Michigan, Samantha Isaacs of Richmond, Katelyn Isaacs of Richmond, Grant Isaacs Jr. of Richmond, James Adams of Morehead, and Dallas Isaccs of Richmond.  Calvin was preceded in death by 2 daughters: Jessica Coots Pigg and Regina Isaacs;1 brother: Ernie Coots. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at the Maces Creek Church of God with John Conn and Rodney Allen officiating. Visitation: 4:00 P.M. Monday at the Maces Creek Church of God. Burial will follow in the Coots Family Cemetery at Viper, Kentucky.
