Carolyn Faye Asbury Hall, of Mayking, passed away Friday, September 8, 2017 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home. Carolyn was the daughter of the late George Sr. and Olgia Easterling Asbury. She was born May 5, 1939 being 78 years, 4 months, and 3 days of age at the time of her passing. Carolyn was the widow of Jack Reed Hall. She was a nurse at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center for over 38 years. Surviving is 3 daughters: Pamela (Lucas) Campbell of Union, Suzann Hall of Nashville, Tennessee, and Rhonda Hall of Whitesburg; 1 brother: Frank (Rosie) Asbury of Georgia; 1 sister: Virginia (Chub) Flanary of Christiansburg, Virginia; special friends: Brenda Adams and Courtney Venters; special companion and loving dog: Molly along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing. Carolyn was preceded in death by 2 brothers: George Asbury and Russell Asbury. Celebration of Life: 2:00 P.M. - 5:00 P.M. Saturday, September 23, 2017 at the Graham Memorial Presbyterian Church.
