Doris June Potter Combs, 85, of Hallie passed away Monday, January 8, 2018 at the Dover Manor Nursing Home in Georgetown, Kentucky. Doris was the daughter of the late Mark H. and Lovell Ison Creech. She was the widow of Elmon G. Potter. Surviving is 1 daughter: Linda Potter of Lexington; 1 brother: William Darrell Creech of London; 1 sister: Bonnie Browning of Leatherwood; 2 grandchildren: Andrew James Farr of Georgetown and Amber Beaton of Lake Orient, Michigan; 2 great grandchildren: Calvin Beaton and Camille Beaton. Doris was preceded in death by 2 sons: David Wayne Potter and Ricky Elmon Potter; 4 brothers: Burley Creech, Carl Creech, Mark Edward Creech, and George Donald Creech. Funeral: 9:00 O'clock A.M. Friday, January 12, 2018 at the Letcher Fuenral Home Chapel with Bill Halcomb and Danny Dixon officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mountain Home Cemetery at Johnson City, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to help pay the funeral expenses.
