Elijah Fleming, 72, of Whitesburg passed away Saturday, April 23rd 2016, at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Hospital.  Elijah was the son of the late Charlie Fleming and Goldie Hall Fleming.  He is survived by his wife Goldie Marcum Fleming; 2 sons:  Elijah Fleming Jr of Lexington Ky and Michael Sampson Fleming of Whitesburg; 2 daughters:  Leslie Burke of Mayking and Amanda Fleming of Whitesburg; 2 sisters:  Martha Bates of Millstone and Margie Fleming of North Carolina; 8 grandchildren:  Danny, Brittany, Delilah, Vincent, Patty, Johnnie, Dedra, and Joanna; 3 great grandchildren: Nazariah, Titus, and Zion.  Elijah was preceded in death by 1 brother Wesley Fleming and 1 sister Barbara Fleming.  Funeral:  11:00 O'clock, Monday, April 25th, 2016 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.  Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Sunday, April 24th, 2016 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.  Burial will follow in the Sandlick Cemetery.
