Eva Cook, 96, of Dry Fork passed away Thursday, July 27, 2017 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Ky. Eva was the daughter of the late Troy and Liddie Adams Cornett. She was the Widow of Edgar Cook. Surviving is 1 son: Daniel E. Cook of Whitesburg; 2 daughters: Hilda Sexton of Isom, and Joyce Larkin of Rogersville, TN; 12 grandchildren: Tabitha Lea Hampton, Nicole Buttrey, Vickie Boggs, Susan Gibson, Olivia Harvey, Beverly Branham, Pamela Reid, Tammy Brooks, James (Jim Ed) Crabtree, Jeffrey Crabtree, Michael Cook, and Christopher Cook; 33 great grandchildren; 16 great great grandchildren. Eva was preceded in death by 1 son: Donald Cook. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, July 30, 2017 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Donald Enfussee officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Cornett Cemetery at Dry Fork, Kentucky.
