Freda and I became friends in Radcliff Kentucky in 1988 and have remained friends. In 2010 I stayed with Freda for 6 weeks right before her breast surgery. I had always talked about coming back to finish the things left undone, especially after I retired last year. Freda sent me a hymn by the Perry's on October 22, just a week before she died. She was always thinking of others. I am so sorry, she was a great loss to all of us.

I met Freda at church. She quickly became my friend, mentor, and inspiration. We would talk all the time and meet for lunch when she knew I needed her. She could she through my words and understand my heart. She was truly an amazing woman.

We spoke for hours the day before she passed. She was very happy and had so much love in her heart. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother. Always speaking so highly of her family. She was so very proud of them all.

I will miss my friend dearly, but her words and companionship will always remain in my heart.

She was a dear friend. She had us all praying for Addy after her birth. Look how big and beautiful she is now. Freda helped me to enjoy Seminary and those late night talks will never be forgotten. Blessings on her family, as we always prayed. Now I am praying for them again for her loss. She was such a willing caregiver for you all, driving you all to your appointments. I know you will miss her. I will miss her, too.
