Geraldine "Jerry" Collier, 83, of Fleming passed away Friday, September 25, 2015 at the Parkview Nursing Home at Shelby Valley, Kentucky. Jerry was the daughter of the late George Washington and Bessie Lemaster Phillips. She was the widow of James Nevie Collier. Surviving is 2 daughters: Joyce Kaye (Eric "Ikey") Patterson of Whitesburg and Deborah Cheryl Garrett of Virginia Beach; 1 brother: Edgar Phillips; 1 sister: Mary Travis; 6 grandchildren: Jeremy (Carla) Anderson, Michelle (Lisardo) Fuentes, Jason (Rosa) Anderson, Amy (Jamie) Banks, Dana (Keith) Arroz, and Jamy (Mallory) Patterson; 15 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild. Jerry was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Arthur Phillips, Charles Phillips, and Leonard Phillips; 2 sisters: Imogene Tillie and Jimmie Parker. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Tuesday, September 29, 2015 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Dock Frazier officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery at Seco, Kentucky.
