Jerry Wayne Sturgill, 70, of Kingscreek passed away Friday, August 14, 2015 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Jerry was the son of the late Elwood and Edna Ison Sturgill. Surviving is his wife: Peggy Sturgill; 1 son: Shawn (Pam) Sturgill of Saideville; 2 daughters: Nicole (Jimmy) Dotson of Kingscreek and Valerie (Steve) Dicks of Kingdom Come; 3 brothers: Ricky (Linda) Sturgill of West Harrison, Indiana, Larry (Kathy) Sturgill of Harrison, Ohio, and Randy (Kathleen) Sturgill of West Harrison, Indiana; 2 sisters: Linda (Allen) Fox of West Harrison, Indiana and Candy (Steve) Seamon of Michigan; 5 grandchildren: Briana (Zachary) Davis, Baleigh Dotson, Matthew Dicks, Mason Dicks, and Shawna (James) Butcher. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the Kingscreek Community Church with Jimmy Dotson and Charlie Campbell officiating. Visitation: 2:00 P.M. Saturday at the Kingscreek Community Church. Burial will follow in the Homeplace Cemetery at Kingscreek, Kentucky.
