Joseph "Papa Joe" Smith, 88, of Premium passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at his residence.  Papa Joe was the son of the late Reed and Laura Sword Smith. Surviving is his wife: Imajean Caudill Smith; 1 son: Douglas Pinson of Premium; 2 daughters: Tracy Madera of Detroit, Michigan and Vicki (Ron) Sharin of Fisher, Indiana; 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, February 19, 2017 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Denny Amburgey officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Whitaker Cemetery at Premium, Kentucky.
