Junior Campbell, 85, of Cornettsville passed away Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at his residence. Junior was the son of the late Rankin and Sarah Ison Campbell. Surviving is his wife: Dorothy Combs Campbell; 2 sons: Stefon Campbell of Dorton and Rickie Campbell of Cornettsville; 2 daughters: Diane Shepherd of Cornettsville and Sarah Coots of Viper; brothers and sisters: Ruth Thomas, Rudell Dixon, Velma Back, Delma Ison, Wanda Willis, Sonny Campbell, and Bobby Ingram; 14 grandchildren: Amy Sumner, Jessica Ivey, Jennifer Johnson, Patricia Eldridge, Nora Pratt, Anthony Shepherd, D.J. Shepherd, Lanna Farler, Aric Campbell, Andrew Campbell, Lyndsey Hall, Austin Campbell, Patrick Coots, and Perri Cotts; 13 great grandchildren. Junior was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Virginia Halcomb; 1 son: Patrick Campbell. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, October 27, 2017 at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Slemp with Eugene Baker officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ at Slemp. Burial will follow in the Campbell Cemetery at Linefork, Kentucky.
