Lena Johnson Stines, 92, of McRoberts passed away Wednesday, September 21, 2016 at her residence. Lena was the daughter of the late Ben and Delphie Bentley Johnson. She was the widow of Cecil Stines. Surviving is 2 daughters: Eunice Sue (Odis) Hall and Gaye (Linville) Meade; 2 sons: Jack (Donna) Stines and Randall Cecil Stines; daughter-in-law: Linda Stines; 15 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren. Lena was preceded in death by 5 sons: Carl Cecil, Bennett Lee, Jerry E., Danny Wayne, and Jeffery Keith; 2 daughters: Joyce Faye and Patsy Maxine; granddaughter: Kimberly Ann; 3 sisters: Maxine Sanders, Pearl Batton, and Ruby Skeens; brother: Elmer Childers. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, September 25, 2016 at the Moores Chapel Church with Gabe Burns and Will Hall officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Moores Chapel Church. Burial will follow in the Bentley Cemetery at Payne Gap, Kentucky.
