Linda Baker Cook, 56, of Whitesburg passed away Wednesday, September 27, 2017 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Linda was the daughter of the late Chester and Wilma Collins Baker. She was the widow of Roger Cook. Surviving is 1 son: Bo (Bethany) Cook of Whitesburg; 2 brothers: Arthur (Christine) Baker of Beaver Dam and Steve Baker of Neon; 1 sister: Kathy (Vernon) Wynn of Thornton; 2 grandchildren: Carter Cook and Heidi Beth Cook; best friend: Joann McElroy"JoBunny"; nieces and nephews: Veronica (Chuck) Dowdy, Valerie (Kevin) Breeding, Mark (Joy) Baker, Wayne (Misty) Baker, Aaron Baker, and Darren (Chey) Baker along with a host of nieces and nephews. Linda was preceded in death by 1 brother: Chester Baker. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, September 30, 2017 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Benny Pugh officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Entombment will follow at the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
