Mable Gibson Combs, 96, of Isom passed away Sunday, August 14, 2016 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Mable was the daughter of the late Harrison and Letha Pigman Gibson. She was the widow of Curtis Combs. Surviving is 1 son: Michael Combs (Shirley) of Isom; 3 daughters: Linda Rose Day of Bethel, Ohio, Shelia Taylor (Buddy) of Isom, and Vickie Brashear of Isom; 1 sister: Ilda Walker of Ohio; 1 daughter-in-law: Margaret Combs of Isom; 8 grandchildren: Kim, Kenny, TC, Jason, Matthew, Sarah, Randy, and Tony; 8 great grandchildren: Jessica, MacKenzie, Autumn, Ainsley, Morgan, Nick, Cole, and Shelbie. Mable was preceded in death by 2 sons: Ronnie "Boe" Combs and Milton Combs; 1 granddaughter: Melody Kelly; 4 sisters; 2 brothers. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Harrison Gibson Cemetery at Isom, Kentucky.
