James Emanuel Watkins, 54, of Kingscreek passed away Sunday, April 16, 2017 at his residence. Manuel was the son of the late Chalmer Lee and Ollie Clark Watkins. Surviving is his wife: Mattie Yonts Watkins; 2 sons: Joshua (Amy Wilder) Mullins Watkins of Blackey and Kevin Taylor of Cary, Ohio; 1 daughter: Laronda (Jamie Hooper) Taylor of Kingscreek; 10 grandchildren: Sierra, Salena, Danielle, Keenen, Jeffrey, Abbie, Cameron, Jamie Kaye, Lillyanna, Keisha, and Mackenna. Manuel was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Tim Watkins, Chalmer "Doonie" Watkins Jr., and Burl Watkins; 1 sister; Goldie Gariety. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, April 20, 2017 at the Kingscreek Community Church with Jimmy Dotson officiating. Visitation: 4:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Kingscreek Community Church. Burial will follow in the Tim Watkins Cemetery at Kingscreek, Kentucky.
