Martha Sue Trent, 81, of Jeremiah passed away Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Martha Sue was the daughter of the late Emmitt and Bertie Adams. Martha Sue was the widow of Roland Trent. Surviving is 1 son: Gregory (Emily) Trent of Delphia; 1 daughter: Sheree Colley of Prestonsburg; 1 brother: Jimmy (Jean) Adams of Jeremiah; sister-in-law: Stella Faye Adams of Jeremiah; 3 grandchildren: Ryan Trent, Kyle Colley, and Jeremy Fuller; 1 great grandchild: Jaylah Fuller; special family members: Anna Marie Caudill of Little Leatherwood; Kendel, Will, Brody, Jackson, and Laura Collins of Sassafrass; cousins: Teresa Combs and Ivadale Smith. Martha Sue was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Shelby Gene Adams, Colin Adams, and Lovell Lee Adams. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock P.M. Wednesday, September 13, 2017 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bufford Combs officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Shade Adams Cemetery at Jeremiah, Kentucky.
