Mary B. Campbell, age 95, passed away Friday, February 16, 2018 at the Lee County Care and Rehabilitation Center in Beattyville, KY. Mary was born in Letcher Count, KY, on August 22, 1922 to the late Floyd and Rebecca Back. She was a homemaker, faithful Christian, loving mother, sister, and wife. She was preceded in death by her husband, Troy Campbell, one son, Carl Edward Campbell, three brothers, Pearl, Wallace, and William Back, one great-grandson, Aaron Caudill, and one great-granddaughter, Samantha Morris. Loving relatives include 7 children, Richard (Kaye) Campbell, Beulah Faye Dickens (Winford Wheatley), Frances (Jerry) Steele, Nancy Wethington, George (Jackie) Campbell, Rachel (Gary) Steele, and Floyd (Nancy) Campbell, 2 sisters, Martha Caudill and Hazel (Ralph) Matney, as well as 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 13 great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be officiated by Matt Dixon with a eulogy given by her grandson, James Virgil Campbell. Pallbearers will be James Campbell, Gregory Gibson, Todd Watts, Troy Campbell, Daniel Watts, and Jeremy Caudill. Burial will follow in the Pearl Dixon Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
