Mildred Faye Eldridge, 74, of Hallie passed away Tuesday, December 26, 2017 at her residence. Mildred was the daughter of the late Eddie and Iona Murphy. She was the widow of Claude Eldridge. Surviving is 2 sons: Claude Elliott Eldridge Jr. of Letcher County and Shane Elloitt Eldridge of Frankfort; 1 daughter: Marquetta Collins of Jackson, Georgia; 2 brothers: Curtis Murphy of Greensburg, Indiana, and Bill Murphy of Michigan; 1 sister: Christine Mathes of Greensburg, Indiana; 4 grandchildren: Melinda Eldridge, Taralyn Hudgins, Amanda Kane, and Aleasha Collins; 12 great grandchildren. Mildred was preceded in death by 1 granddaughter: Michelle Collins. Funeral: 4:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, December 29, 2017 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 4:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel.
