Nannie Mae Rogers, 89, of Blackey passed away Saturday, May 23, 2015 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Nannie was the daughter of the late Boyd and Polly Caudill Eldridge. She was the widow of Edd Vernon Rogers. Surviving is 3 sons: Eddie Rogers of Blackey, Gary Rogers of Turkey Creek, and Danny Rogers of Pratt Fork; 2 daughters: Nancy Gail Feltner of Fusonia and Myrtle Miller of Blackey; 1 brother: Carlos Eldridge of Fairborn, Ohio; 3 sisters: Oma Jo Branson of Letcher, Ersley Eldridge of Turkey Creek, and Audrey Halcomb of Linefork; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren. Nannie was preceded in death by 1 son: Ronnie Rogers; 5 sisters. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Monday, May 25, 2015 at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church with Elwood Cornett, Jim Fields, Robert Holcomb, Bruce Gilley, and Clifford Fields officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Pearl Dixon Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
