Ray Dean Adams, 74, of Blackey passed away on January 28, 2016 at his home. Ray was preceded in death by his parents, Mose and Goldie Caudill Adams. One brother: Jimmy Lane Adams; a granddaughter: Cassie Adams. Ray is survived by his wife of 51 years: Doris Caudill Adams; son: Randy (Mary Gail); daughter: Vanessa Joseph (Donnie); son: Jason (Franka); brother: Dennis (Joann) sister: Sonja Begley (Lyndel), brother: Gary (Debbie), sister: Debra Yonts (Tommy), sister: Dana Smith (Benji); granddaughter: Maranda Coleman (David); grandson: Cody Dixon (Jessica); two great grandchildren: Gracie and Henry Coleman along with a host of nephews, nieces, and cousins and friends to celebrate his life. Ray was saved in 1975. He loved his Lord. He loved his family. He loved fishing and being outdoors. He was proud of being a member of th U.M.W.A. since 1973. Memorial Service: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Dixon, Jim Fields, and Scottie Halcomb officiating. Visitation: 4:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Saturday at the Blair Branch Old Regular Baptist Church.
