Robert Ellis Adams, 82, of Jeremiah passed away Monday, November 16, 2015 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home. Bob was the son of the late I.D. and Rosanna Adams. Surviving is 1 son: Kirk (Sharon) Adams of Jeremiah along with several loving nieces and nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his wife: Evolena Adams; 3 brothers: William McKinley Adams, Jack Adams, and Evangene Adams. Bob loved to fish, loved his dogs and loved his church. He was a member of the "Good News Gospel Church" at Perkings Branch, Jeremiah, KY. He loved to go the singings. He also loved his carpenter work and his brick laying. He was proud of the homes he built and the Big watermelons he won Blue Ribbons with. He will be missed for sitting on the porch and talking to everyone. Funeral: 11:30 O'clock A.M. Thursday, November 19, 2015 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Richard Hampton officiating. Visitaiton: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery at Jeremiah, Kentucky.
