Ronald "Ron" Gene Parks, 81, of Ermine passed away Saturday, June 18, 2016 at the Whitesburg ARH. Ron was the son of the late Ralph and Opal Parks. Surviving is his wife: Sue Parks; 1 stepson: Bobby Dan Blair of Bowling Green; 2 daughters: Pamela Jean Ozluk of Colorado and Cynthia Leigh Butcher of Florida; 3 stepdaughters: Teresa Ann Abdoo of Carrolton, Ky, Maguana Sue Qualls of Carrolton, Ky, and Medina Kriss Blair of Ermine. Funeral 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 21 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Tony Brown officiating. Visitation 6:00-10:00 p.m. Monday, June 20 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Mountain Memory Gardens Cemetery at Hindman, Ky.
