Sheila Meade Johnson, of Neon passed away Thursday March 15, 2018 at her residence. Sheila is the daughter of Winifred Cook Meade and the late Jesse Meade. Surviving other than her mother are her husband of 54 years Johnny Johnson; 1 Son: Johnny Layton (Jill) Johnson Jr of Carlsbad New Mexico; 1 Daughter: Caroline (John) Fleming of Carlsbad New Mexico; 3 Sisters: Madonna (Terry) Sturgill of Neon; Jane (Jimbo) Breeding of Neon; Rhonda (Houshang) Zaher; 3 Grandchildren: Lana Paige Johnson, Johnny Layton Johnson III, Alyssa Quinn Damron and Grand Son In Law Austin Lee Bolling. Sheila was preceded in death by 1 Brother: Gary N. Meade. Funeral 2:00 P.M. Sunday March 18, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Chris Fleming officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. Friday March 16, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
