Stella Brock, 79, of Cumberland passed away Friday, October 6, 2017 at her residence. Stella was the daughter of the late John Hendrix and Mandy Hendrix Couch. She was the widow of James Brock. Surviving are 3 Sons: David Hendrix of Letcher County; Ronnie Brock of Cumberland; James Brock Jr; 1 Daughter: Patty Howard of Cumberland; 1 Brother: Bobby Hendrix of Georgia; 13 Grandchildren: Ronnie Jr, Bridgette, Dana, Kelly, Kristi, Josh, Kendra, Daniel, Anna, Ryan, Cory, Courtney, Susie; 30 Great Grandchildren; she was preceded in death by 16 brothers and sisters. Funeral 1:00 P.M. Monday, October 9, 2017 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation 6:00 P.M. Saturday, October 7, 2017 at the Letcher Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Billmoore Branch Cemetery at Payne Gap.
