Venisha Lane Rogers, 54, of Hallie passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018 at the University of Kentucky Medical Center. Venisha was the daughter of Edward and Lonnie Dixon Gibson of Hallie. Surviving other than her parents is her husband: Gary Rogers; 2 sons: Johnny (Tamara) Eldridge of Jeremiah and Jonathan (Jessica) Eldridge of Isom; 2 stepdaughters: Kasie Nicole (Randall) Roberson of Blackey and Janet (Josh) Ridener of Indianapolis, Indiana; 1 brother: Ralph Shuffler of Whitesburg; 1 sister: Zoni (Glen) Hampton of Redstar; 9 grandchildren: Haley, Caleb, Ethan, Gabby, Chloe, Hila, Carter, Gabe, and Zander. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Jeff Slone, Paul Radoseuvich, Wallace Bolling, and Bruce Eldridge Jr. officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Gibson Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.
