William Ronnie Brown, 72, of Cowan passed away Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his residence. Ronnie was the son of the late William H and Hazel Cook Brown. He was the widower of Anita Carol Brown. Surviving are 3 sons: William C Brown, Barry Scott Brown and Jason Daniel Brown all of Whitesburg; 1 brother: Richard Brown of Ice; 2 sisters: Linda Combs of Ice and Von Sutphin of Roanoke, VA; 3 grandchildren: Kelli Brown, Katie Brown, and Hailey Brown; 1 sister-in-law and special friend: Shannon Edwards. Funeral: 1:00 PM, Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6:00 - 10:00 PM Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Banks Peaceful Hills Cemetery at Ice, Kentucky.
