Doris Elaine (Frazier) Hogg

Doris Elaine Hogg, 86 of Whitesburg, passed away Wednesday, April 3, 2024 at the Letcher Manor Nursing Home.

Doris was the daughter of the late Ottis “Poss” Frazier.

Doris graduated Kingdom Come High School and attended Alice Lloyd College. She was a member of the Whitesburg First Baptist Church. She loved Church, The Young at Heart Group, reading her Bible daily and was devoted to all of her family. Her favorite Bible verse was John 3:16.

Surviving is 2 sons: Steve (Monieca) Hogg of Rock Hill, South Carolina and Gregory (Teresa) Hogg of Whitesburg; 1 daughter: Greta (Keith) Howard of Mayking; 6 grandchildren: Misty, Amanda, Bryan, Steven, Whitney and Jacqueline; 16 great grandchildren: Peyton, Taylor, Courtney, Hunter, Cameron, Ava, McKynlee, Emily, David, Audrey, Lydia, James, Bailee, Brady, Liam and Lilianna along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband: Jimmie “Jim” Farish Hogg; paternal grandparents: Phillip “Poppy” and Katie “Mommy” Frazier; her twin sister: Bonnie Jean Prewitt.

Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, April 5, 2024 at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Hogg officiating. Visitation: 11:00 A.M. Friday at the Whitesburg First Baptist Church. Private Family Burial at the Vernon Hogg Cemetery at Roxana, Kentucky. 

Memorial may be made to the Whitesburg First Baptist Church.
