Alma Marie Adams of Whitesburg, passed away Friday, September 27, 2019 at Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky.

Alma was the daughter of the late Sam and Mary Tyree Baker. She was born March 28, 1952 being 67 years, 6 months, at the time of her passing.

Alma was the widow of Daniel Adams.

Alma didn't have a home church at the time of her passing but gave her heart to the Lord many years ago. Even though she hated to leave her family she was ready to go home to be with Jesus.

Surviving is 3 sons: Brian and Sheri Webb of Shallotte, NC., Danny and Lisa Adams of Bronston, Kentucky, and the youngest Josh Adams of Whitesburg, Kentucky; 2 daughters: Samantha and Phillip Collins of Ice, Kentucky and Angela Hibbitts of Whitesburg, Kentucky; 7 grandchildren: Jeffrey Adams, Cheyenne Hibbitts, Nathan Adams, Kelly Cornett, Brittany Collins, Bethany Adams, and Aubrey Collins; 6 great grandchildren; 2 brothers: Jimmy Baker of Whitesburg and Michael Baker of Little Dry Fork; 4 sisters: Linda Phelps of Ohio, Evelyn Burnett of Kansas, Carolyn Cornett of Little Cowan, and Janet Fields of Whitesburg along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn her passing.

Alma was preceded in death by 1 brother: Forrester Baker and 4 sisters: Margaret Kincer, Hazel Frazier, Barbara Adams, and Joyce Wilson.

Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, September 30, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Danny Hurst and Cecil Howard officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday and 6:00 P.M. Sunday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Haven of Rest Cemetery at Mayking, Kentucky.
