Alma (Watts) Fields

Alma Fields, 93 of Isom, passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Alma was the daughter of the late Blaine and Eva Caudill Watts. She was the widow of D.Y. Fields. Surviving is 2 daughters: Teresa (Danny) Dixon of Redstar and Patricia (Paul) Caudill of Isom; 2 brothers: Herschel Watts of Indiana and Darrell Watts of Hallie;  3 sisters: Helen Birdwell of Michigan, Wanda Neace of Michigan, and Joyce Caudill of Hallie; 5 grandchildren: Kristi Dixon, Misti Bird, Scott Fields, Chad Fields, and C.J. Fields; 4 great grandchildren: Mason Fields, Presley  Fields, Jordan Fields, and Ian Fields; special friend: Gary Adams; caretaker: Becky Day; nephew: Gary Watts. Alma was preceded in death by  1 son: Donald Edward Fields; 1 daughter: Sondra Lynn Fields; brothers and sisters: Elmon Watts, Edward Watts, Ezra Watts, Winford Watts, Edna Sexton, and Wayne Watts. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, November 10, 2019 at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church with Danny Dixon, Jim Fields, Elwood Cornett, Squire Watts, Toby Breeding, and Bill Johnson officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Caudill Cemetery at Redstar, Kentucky.
