Arco Holbrook, 70, of Ermine passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019, at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Arco was the son of the late Archie and Rachel Hendrix Holbrook. He was the widower of Cleo Wampler Holbrook. Surviving is 4 sons: Anthony Banks (Brandie) of Little Dry Fork, Joseph Banks of Little Dry Fork, Keaston Banks of Ermine, and Austin Banks (Alyssa) of Colson; 2 daughters: Lisa Gibson (Lindsey) of Prestonsburg and Shondra Adams (Tony) of Little Dry Fork; 2 Step Sons: 2 Step Daughters; 1 brother: Roscoe Holbrook (Sandra) of Whitesburg; 3 sisters: Geneva Collins, Ruby Sturgill, and Alice Baker (Rodney) all of Ermine; 20 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 2 special nephews: Travis Baker and Jonathon Sturgill both of Ermine; special niece: Lorie Sturgill. Arco was preceded in death by 1 son: Chris Cates. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Tuesday, March 19, 2019, at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Glen Cornett and Eli Smith officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Holbrook Family Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
