Betty Jo Stamper, 71, of Jeremiah passed away Friday, November 29, 2019 at her residence. Betty was the daughter of the late Joe Bowling and Alta Caudill Bowling. Surviving are 1 daughter: Karen (John) Neely of Hollow Rock, TN; 3 brothers: Otis Bowling of Hickory, NC, Carl Eugene Bowling of Cincinnati, OH and Chester Bowling of Blackey; 1 sister: Vanda Rue Sexton of Dry Fork; 4 grandchildren: Jefferey Neely, Johnathon "Cody" Neely and girlfriend Shyanne Mingle, Tryston Neely, and Natalie Neely; 2 great grandchildren: Alex Neely and Jerron Cade "JC" Neely. Betty was preceded in death by her husband: Jackie Stamper; 3 brothers: Oscar, Mansfield, and James Bowling; sister: Loretta Bowling; grandchild: Brandi Victoria Neely. Funeral: 12:00 PM Tuesday, December 3, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Bailey, Haston Whitaker, and Aaron Whitaker Jr officiating. Visitation: 6:00-10:00 PM Sunday and 6:00-10:00 PM Monday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Bowling Cemetery at Woodrock, Ky.
