Cinda Diane Whitehead Slone, 58, of Blackey passed away Tuesday, August 15, 2017 at Blackey, Kentucky. Diane was the daughter of the late Wade and Vaxie Caudill Whitehead. Surviving is her husband: Larry Gene Slone; 2 sons: Terry (Stephanie) Slone and Larry "Bubby" Slone all of Blackey; 3 daughters: Vanessa Slone of Knott County, Canessa Slone Elliott of Pine Top, and Rhonda Kaye (Rondal) Slone Collins; 1 brother: Kenny Allen (Wanda) Whitehead of Blackey; 3 sisters: Janie (Ralph) Jent of Blackey, Judy (Curt) Cole of Hazard, and Margie Harmon of Texas; 6 grandchildren: Lucas Lee Slone, Greg Russell Fugitt, Latana Grace Fugitt, Lori Renee Eliott, Clerissa Kaye Slone, Larry Dalton Orosz along with a host of nieces and nephews. Diane was preceded in death by 1 daughter: Chrystal Slone; 2 brothers: Denny Wade Whitehead and Jimmy "Bo" Whitehead; 1 sister: Juanita Kaye Whithead; 1 grandchild: Josie Orosz Slone. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, August 18, 2017 at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church with Elwood Cornett, Roy Slone, and others officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Thursday at the Mt. Olivet Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Pearl Dixon Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
