Connie Lee Hatton Cornett, 55 of Blackey, passed away Thursday, January 2, 2020 at the Hazard Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Connie was the daughter of Christine Smith and the late Lee Hatton. Surviving other than her mother is her husband: Carlo Cornett; 1 son: Justin (Jacqueline) Cornett of Letcher; 1 sister: Donna Blair of Union Grove, Alabama; 2 grandchildren: Gracee and Kylee Cornett; stepfather: Ramon Rosales; nephews: Scott (Teresa) Cupps of Huntsville, Alabama; nieces: Robin (Robert) Dismuke of Huntsville, Alabama, Rebecca (Chantz) Woody of Union Grove, Alabama, Bobbi Baber of Madison, Alabama ; great nephews: Kaleb Dismuke of Huntsville, Alabama, Michael Fields of Madison, Alabama, and Chase Woody of Union Grove, Alabama; great niece: Carleigh Woody of Union Grove, Alabama. Connie was preceded in death by 1 sister: Rhonda Hatton Hudson; 1 nephew: Michael Shaun Fields. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Sunday, January 5, 2020 at the Blackey Missionary Baptist Church with Elwood Cornett and Bruce Gilley officiating. Visitation: 5:00 P.M. - 9:00 P.M. Saturday at the Blackey Missionary Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Pearl Dixon Cemetery at Blackey, Kentucky.
