Dan Polly, 77, of Whitesburg passed away Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at the Marcum and Wallace Memorial Hospital in Irvine, Kentucky. Dan was the son of the late Add and Edna Webb Polly. Dan was a science teacher at Whitesburg High School, where he retired. He was also an alumni of Berea College. Surviving is his sister: Scottie Wagner of Pittsboro, Indiana and several nieces and nephews. Dan was preceded in death by his parents, sister: Jacqueline "Jackie" Page; 2 brothers: Rex Polly and Bobby Polly. Memorial Service: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Saturday, May 27, 2017 at the Thornton Union Old Regular Baptist Church.
