Dean Craft, 69, of Cowan passed away Monday, January 14, 2019 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Dean was the son of the late William Letcher and Alta Onedia Proffitt Craft. Surviving is his wife: Alice Thomas Craft; 1 son: Jesse Dean Craft Jr. of Whitesburg; 2 daughters: Missy Craft Spangler of Whitesburg and Melanie (Roger Dale) Caudill of Whitesburg; 3 brothers: Chalmer (Mary) Craft of Premium, Jimmy (Della) Craft of UZ, and Rocky (Michelle) Craft of Whitesburg; 1 sister: Hilda (Jim) Burns of Isom; 4 grandchildren: Abby Spangler, Autumn Craft, Jake Caudill, and Reese Caudill. Dean was preceded in death by 1 brother: Hank Craft; 1 sister; Gloria Ramsey. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, January 17, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft and Rocky Craft officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Thomas Family Cemetery at Cowan, Kentucky.
