Donald Ray Niece, 74, of Thornton passed away Friday, November 30, 2018 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Donald was the son of the late Ballard and Lettie Jane Sergent Niece. Surviving is his wife: Pearl Bentley Niece; 2 sons: Michael Ray Niece of Thornton and Randall Don Niece of Isom; 2 brothers: Jimmy Niece of Redfox and Casey Niece of Van; 3 sisters; Castella Kincer of Maryland, Joyce Morton of Thornton, and Sharon Niece of Jenkins; 1 grandchild: Randall Donovon Niece; 2 step grandchildren: Will Niece and Whitney Niece; 2 great grandchildren: Nirvana Niece and Iris Niece. Donald was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Wilford and Rocky; 1 sister: Linda Sue Isaac. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Sunday, December 2, 2018 at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church with Bill Craft officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Millstone Missionary Baptist Church. Entombment will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
