Earnest Allen "Boots" Holbrook, 70, of Isom passed away Tuesday, January 2, 2018 at the Pikeville Medical Center. Earnest was the son of the late Henry and Nannie Collins Holbrook. Surviving is his wife: Faye Combs Holbrook; 1 daughter: Myra Holbrook of Isom; 3 sisters: Vedith Martin of Whitesburg, Velma Venters of Campbranch, and Owana Fultz of Campbranch. Earnest was preceded in death by 3 brothers: Vaughn Holbrook, John Holbrook, and Terry Holbrook. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, January 4, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Dock Frazier officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Combs Cemetery at Isom, Kentucky.
