Edna Eldridge, 87, of Hallie passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Edna was the daughter of the late Chester and Stella Couch. She was the widow of Lillie Eldridge. Surviving are her children: Ken (Maxine) Eldridge, Marsha Dixon (Bill Polly, Brenda (Mike) Johnson, Mike (Verlene) Eldridge, and Winford Eldridge; grandchildren: Kevin Eldridge, Scott Eldridge, Mike Dixon, Eric Dixon, Stacey Johnson, Christy Johnson, Melissa Ison-Kiser, Jessica Longstreath, Courtney Sexton, Jonathan Johnson, Nicholas Hall, Monique Sexton, and Allison Eldridge; 18 great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren; sister: Lily Callahan; special brothers-in-law: Owen Callahan and James Gross. Edna was preceded in death by 1 son: Randy Eldridge; 2 brothers: Dillard and Homer; 2 sisters: Callie and May. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Saturday, January 19, 2019 at the Cedar Grove Old Regular Baptist Church with Elwood Cornett, Danny Dixon, Jim Fields, and Richard Hampton officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Eldridge Family Cemetery at Hallie, Kentucky.
