Edna Corena Woody Holbrook was born at Seco, KY on May 18, 1936 to Otto and Martha Sexton Woody. She passed into eternal life on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at LifeCare Center in Morehead, KY being 82 years, 5 months, and 5 days of age at the time of her passing. Corene married Eddie Holbrook on September 29, 1953 in Clintwood, VA. She is survived by two daughters, Robin Holbrook of Mayking, KY and Tracy (Morris) Bates of Winchester, KY. Five sons, John Holbrook (Isabelle Spooner) of Seymour, TN, Chuck Holbrook (Penny Rankin) of Flemingsburg, KY, Randel Dean (Julie) Holbrook of Whitesburg, KY, David (Jennifer) Holbrook of Lake Ozark, MO, and Stacy (Colette) Holbrook of Kapolei, HI. She is also survived by one sister, Eva Lou Wagers of Indianapolis, IN, 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and special family and friends. She was proceeded in death by her husband, her grandson Adam Holbrook and 1 great-grandchild Austin Stidham. Memorial Service: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Saturday, October 27, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine, Kentucky.
