Geneva Baker, 77 of Thornton, passed away Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Geneva was the daughter of the William M. and Bertie Collins Sexton. Surviving is her husband: Larry L. Baker; 1 daughter: Cassandra ( John) Poe of Annville, Ky.; 1 sister: Cora Lynda (Gerrard) Collins of Van; 1 brother: Charles D. Sexton ( Jewell) Cleveland, Tn.;3 grandchildren: Heather (Carl) Hale, Cory (Jordan) Poe, and Abby (Dana) Douglas; 7 great grandchildren: Dalton, Landon, Lacie, Kacie, Reagan, Chandler, and Jensen. Geneva was preceded in death by 1 brother: George Sexton; 2 sisters: Joyce Hensley and Rosa Morris. Funeral: 12:00 O'clock Noon Friday, September 27, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Combs, Harry Collins, Dana Douglas, and Ronnie Lee Napier officiating. Visitation: 7:00 P.M. Thursday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Patrick Collins Cemetery at Isom, Kentucky.
