Hannah Wells, 78, of Letcher passed away Saturday, August 19, 2017 at her residence.  Hannah was the daughter of the late Woodrow and Eller Helton Couch. She was the widow of Bill Wells. Surviving is 5 children: Johnny Wells (Verna Adams) of Letcher, Ky., Kathy Wells (Ronnie Potter) of Pistol City, Ella Sandlin (Johnny Sandlin) of Colson, Ronnie Wells (Darlene Wells) of Thornton, and Lonnie Wells (Ollie Wells) of Colson; 29 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; 1 sister: Josephine; 2 brothers: Brown and Castel; special thanks to Katelyn Adams and Tanya Russell for always being there with Verna Adams at any time for Hannah. Hannah was preceded in death by 2 children: Lisa Ann Wells and Arnold Wells; 3 sisters: Daisy, Maybelle, and Georgia; 1 brother: George; 5 grandchildren. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Thursday, August 24, 2017 at the Lighthouse Church with Glen Gross and others officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Tuesday at the Lighthouse Church. Burial will follow in the Couch Family Cemetery Colson, Kentucky.
