Jessie Vaughn Collins, 79, of Crafts Colley passed away Thursday, August 8, 2019 at his residence. Jessie was the son of the late Thurston and Mattie Sergent Collins. Surviving is his wife Wanda Adams Collins; 2 sons: Michael Collins of Washington DC, and Rodney (Zetta) Collins of Wise, VA; 1 brother: Windus Collins; 7 sisters: Pauline Bates, Gayle Franklin, Marietta Spangler, Ruth Isom, Virgie Halcomb, Rena Vae Sturgill, and Norma Jean Adams; 1 grandchild: Chloe Rebecca Collins along with a host of other relatives and friends to mourn his passing. Jessie was preceded in death by 6 brothers: Roy, Lester, Billy, Thurston Jr, Estill, Bobby Joe; 2 sisters: Alberta Webb and Lavetta Ann Combs. Funeral 11:00 O'clock A.M. Tuesday, August 13, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Bill Craft and Cecil Howard officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. - 10:00 P.M. Sunday, August 11, 2019 and 6:00 P.M.- 10: 00 P.M. Monday, August 12, 2019 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
