Johnnie Short, 75, of Deane passed away Tuesday, August 14, 2018 at the Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Johnnie was the son of Margie Spangler Short of New Albany, Indiana.and the late Hillard Short. Surviving other than his mother is his wife: Eula Hall Short; 1 son: Ricky Short of Deane; 1 brother: Alex Short of Florida; 3 sisters: Mary Eva Holesapple of West Virginia, Jeorlene Landrum of New Albany, Indiana, and Paula Davis of Depaul, Indiana; 2 grandchildren: Kody and Cameron. Funeral: 11:00 O'clock A.M. Thursday, August 16, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Mark Wagoner officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Wednesday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Deane, Kentucky.
