Lester Ray Brown, 71, of Deane passed away Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Care Center in Hazard, Kentucky. Ray was the son of the late Astor A. and Alpha Maurine Wright Brown. Surviving is 1 brother: Astor E. Brown of Deane; 2 nephews: Elmer Brown of Jenkins and David Brown of Alabama; 1 niece: Rebecca Jent of Deane. Funeral: 2:00 O'clock P.M. Friday, November 23, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel with Derek McCall officiating. Visitation: 12:00 Noon Friday at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Deane, Kentucky.
