Lewis James Griffith, of Millstone passed away Friday March 16, 2018 at the Whitesburg Appalachian Regional Healthcare Center. Lewis was the son of the late Charles and Francis Jane Wybenga Griffith. Surviving are his wife: Charlotte Ann Rogers Griffith; 2 Sons: Nathan Robert Griffith of Georgetown; Jason Andrew Griffith of Louisville; 3 Daughters: Rebecca Anne Burke of Millstone; Deborah Jane Williams of Virgie; Cherith Yvone Griffith of Pikeville; 1 Brother: Robert Arthur Griffith of Siler City North Carolina; 7 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren along with a host of relitives and friends to mourn his passing. Lewis was preceded in death by 2 Brothers: Joseph Griffith and Kenneth Griffith. Funeral 11:00 A.M. Monday March 19, 2018 at the McRoberts Missionary Baptist Church with Jim Johnston officiating. Visitation 6:00 P.M. Sunday March 18, 2018 at the Letcher Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Green Acres Cemetery at Ermine.
