Lisa Ann Bates, 41, of Colson passed away Saturday, May 13, 2017 at her residence. Lisa was the daughter of Hannah Couch Wells of Colson and the late Bill Wells. Surviving other than her mother is her husband: Worlie Bates; 2 sons: Johnny Gibson of Tennessee and Schuyler Bates of Colson; 4 daughters: Danielle Gibson of Colson, Brooke Spencer of Neon, Kirsten Bates of Colson, and Aleigha Bates of Colson; 3 brothers: Johnny Wells of Blackey, Lonnie Wells of Colson, and Ronnie Wells of Thornton; 2 sisters; Ella Sandlin and Kathy Potter both of Colson;  3 grandchildren: Hunter Gibson, Alaina Taylor, and Caiden Gibson. Lisa was preceded in death by 1 brother: Arnold Wells. Funeral: 1:00 O'clock P.M. Monday, May 15, 2017 at the Lighthouse Church with Glen Gross officiating. Visitation: 6:00 P.M. Saturday at the Lighthouse Church. Burial will follow in the Bates and Wells Cemetery at Colson, Kentucky.
